'Naatu Naatu' won the Oscar for 'Best Original Song' and 'The Elephant Whisperers' won in the Best Documentary Short film category

"Naatu Naatu"- an Indian Telugu-language song. Composed by- M. M. Keeravani. Lyrics by- Chandra Bose. Recorded by- Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava for the soundtrack album of the film RRR(2022). Released on- 10 November 2021. Also released in- Hindi as Naacho Naacho, Tamil as Naattu Koothu, Kannada as Halli Naatu, Malayalam as Karinthol. Lead actors- Jr. NTR and Ram Charan.
"Naatu Naatu" became the first song from an Indian film (as well as from an Asian film) to win the Academy Award for Best Original Song. It also won the Best Original Song award at the 80th Golden Globe Awards, making it the first Indian song to win the award. It took over 19 months for producing the song NAATU NAATU. Filming took place at the Mariinskyi Palace, the official residence of the president of Ukraine in Kyiv, a few months before the onset of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The music video featured about 50 dancers and 300 to 400 side dancers.
The Elephant Whisperers- An Indian-American Tamil-language short documentary film. Directed by- Kartiki Gonsalves. Story by- Priscilla Gonsalves. Music by- Sven Faulconer. Released in- 2022. Running time- 39 minutes. Produced by- Sikhya Entertainment. Released by- Netflix globally on 8 December 2022. The Elephant Whisperers won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Short Film at the 95th Academy Awards, making it the first Indian film to win an Academy Award in that category.
